What does commercial solar cost per watt in Southern California? +
Most Southern California commercial installations run $2.20 to $3.20 per watt installed before incentives. Smaller systems under 100 kW typically land at the higher end, and larger systems bring the per-watt cost down. Our 2026 cost guide breaks down what drives the range.
What tax credit applies to projects like these? +
The federal Investment Tax Credit covers 30% of the total installed system cost for commercial projects. Systems over 1 MW must meet prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements to claim the full 30%; systems under 1 MW get it without those conditions.
Who actually installs the systems? +
Keen Energy's own in-house C-10 electrical crews, with state-certified Journeymen and Apprentices. We do not subcontract the electrical scope. CSLB License #1137888.
How long does a project like these take? +
